The quality of a person's relationship with themselves determines the quality of their life.
My name is Kimberly and I'm glad you're here.
My counseling background includes individual, marriage, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and
working with individuals from a vast array of life experiences and stages of life.
I also have a lengthy history of working with those who have found symptoms taking control of their lives and who desire to get back to their full potential, performance, and levels of desired outcomes.
I am a Christian and enjoy incorporating faith beliefs into counseling, yet am also well-experienced
and comfortable with patients who hold to a variety of views and religious beliefs.

Clinical experience
Each one of us is the sum of our experiences. The secret is discovering how those experiences interrelate.
One of my favorite quotes is: "Blessed is (she) who has found (her) work; let (her) ask no other blessedness". (T. Carlyle)
In our work, we find ourselves, and our purpose-- through sharing that journey with others, we ourselves are likewise blessed.
Therapy Approaches
Helping you to create an inner environment for healing
Interventions and homework are used to increase love and acceptance of yourself and to decrease internal conflict.
Psychoeducation
Providing education on how your brain and body work together, trauma processing modalities, coping skills, understanding and reframing thought patterns, and best practices for good therapy are an ongoing part of my process.
Relational Psychotherapy
Part of the healing process is having a good rapport with your therapist. Creating an encouraging, empowering, accepting, supportive, and healing atmosphere to do therapy is very important to me.
Best Practices for Good Therapy
Having a therapist that stays on top of the most recent research, best practices, and proven healing approaches are a vital part of your journey and something I take very seriously in my practice.
Let's Talk
The first step in therapy is talking. Let's find a time where we can meet and begin the conversation.
